Description

Interior build-out of a new medical office building addition on the St. John Health System’s Detroit Riverview campus. Included physician offices, patient waiting areas, a hospital laboratory, physical rehabilitation center, pharmacy, coffee shop, and medical office areas. The facility is designed to meet the needs of today’s patients who often require a single destination for various types of doctors and medical services. The greatest challenge on this project was working side by side with the core and shell contractor during our portion of work. Staging, storage and scope issues constantly arose where tenant improvement work and core and shell work interfaced. Ultimately the project was a success and we have gone on to foster our relationship with the Owner through additional successful projects.
