The new Neuroscience Unit at Detroit Medical Center Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (DMC RIM) gives patients and their families access to some of the most advanced care, technology and top experts in the field of rehabilitation medicine.
The 17-bed unit features enhanced safety monitoring equipment, private and semi-private rooms, smart glass for clinical observation, therapy gym for interactive programming, and "Smart Room" technology capabilities.The new unit also features state-of-the-art equipment, especially designed for neurorecovery. RIM is the first hospital in Michigan to own the Zero G and InMotion Arm.
Marsh was responsible for demolition of the existing 14,000 sq. ft. 6th floor as well as the complete renovation that required careful coordination and minimal interruption to the daily operations of the fully functioning institute.
